On Friday, May 15, 2015, Dr Roy Whitten and Scott Roy of Whitten, founders of international sales consultancy Roy Partnership, will give a class presentation to the Stanford Graduate School of Business about the role of selling in social enterprises.
The presentation is titled “Solving poverty by getting the poor to spend their own money: selling life-changing products in the developing world”.
Interested journalists are welcome to attend the 10:00-11:45am lecture. There is also the opportunity for a one-to-one interview session with Dr Roy Whitten and Scott Roy of Whitten after the lecture.
As partner to leading global social enterprises operating in the developing world, Dr Roy Whitten and Scott Roy of Whitten will address key sales challenges from their decades of work, covering issues such as: How sales expertise can help social organizations fulfill their (often life-saving) missions; and
how to help social enterprises become more successful by clarifying the respective roles of marketing and selling.
