This week marketing director Davide Castorina and field coach Alexander Ngalle had the honour to teach a masterclass at the University of Milano-Bicocca, Italy’s top university based in Milan.

Engaging with students on the university’s sociology course, as part of their module on national and international social cooperation, Alexander and Davide gave an-depth overview of Whitten & Roy Partnership’s pioneering work in a presentation titled “How to improve the results of social enterprises and NGOs in emerging countries”.

Under the ethos of learning from practical experiences, the sociology course’s teaching is brought into the classroom by inviting a hand-picked selection of leading Italian experts from successful social enterprises and non-profit organisations. Following WRP’s presentation students had time to fully assess and discuss Whitten & Roy Partnership’s work in a team activity and a collective final debate. WRP wants to congratulate all the participants for their brilliant ideas on how to run a social enterprise and say thank you to Prof. Caterina Roggero for the invitation
