Whitten & Roy Partnership’s consultant Connie Vimbai Smith will be speaking at the 40th International Conference at Loughborough University on 25 July. This year’s conference, titled “Local Action with International Cooperation to Improve and Sustain Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) Services”, aims to learn from shared experiences and achievements to support the sustainable delivery of WASH services through international cooperation.

The conference is attracting participants from research, practice and policy communities across more than 40 countries, and Whitten & Roy Partnership is proud to have been invited to this prestigious event. Already in 2016, our consultant Christie Bradley spoke at the conference, which then took place in Ghana.

In her presentation Connie Vimbai Smith will discuss lessons and learnings for getting sales right in WASH programmes; a report from the front line to stimulate reflection on sales leadership in NGOs and social enterprises adopting a market based approach to increase sanitation in the developing world.
